Culinary world traveler and creative chef — Together with chef Vilson, Eric creates symphonies of taste at Elmira

Eric is a culinary nomad with an eye for pleasure and a passion that crosses the limits of cooking. Since leaving the paths of teaching behind him, he has traveled the world, not only exploring the diversity of Swiss cantons, but also sampling international cuisine.

His culinary journey took him to Copenhagen, where he spent two years honing his skills in the renowned “studio” under the guidance of Torsten Vildgaard. Another highlight was his scholarship from Andreas Caminada's independent Fundaziun Uccelin Foundation, which offered him the opportunity to work in leading restaurants across Europe.

After a long absence, Eric has found his way back to his home region and to us in Elmira, where he can fully live out his passion. He is currently in the middle of training to become a chef. In harmony with Vilson, our dishes are created, which take guests on a journey of taste. Eric's affinity for patisserie gives our desserts a unique creative touch.

But Eric's creativity doesn't end in the kitchen. In his free time, he dives into the world of drawing and painting with oil paints, where he develops his imagination and artistic streak.
